i shall not regret i shall not regret.
music Tokyo Jihen : Sounan (Disaster)
UHm, no I didn't go to yesternight's Architecture In Helsinki gig in Zouk. My mother didn't let me, and besides, I never had any choices for a chaperon that my mum trusts truly until Pojam knew that he could go by the very last minute. Which was a bit too late.
But anyway, rephrase what I wrote as the title again and again and again. T_T
I watched Goblet of Fire the other day, with my sister. And I daresay to say this, that I do enjoy the movie. I was not much of a rabid Harry Potter follower, but I do watched all the movies and read all the books (except book six, ha). Maybe I don't really go for HP for whatever message they have indepth, or maybe I'm just a bit tired of J.K. Rowling's simplicity when it comes to writing. Bleh, who knows. But anyway, back to the movie. The direction of the movie is better than the last three because it did make me feel sattisfied despite not following the book at times. It was a bit lacking in referring to the time of the events, as it heavily, heavily stressed on the tournament, enabling the viewers to think that it's just a matter of 3 months? Yeah. They didn't show SPEW!!
Character wise, I think Voldemort skips around alot. From my lj, [I expected him to be taller and he glides around with an air of, "look at me, I am teh Dark Lord and now all of you shall bow down to my greatness of gliding!" but no here he is being all happy and like, "ooh come Harry let's fight with me! Weee!". But there's the option that he was just revived from the dead, so, yeah. Not only that, during his rebirth scene (which was bearing a very striking resemblance to Alien), the tune of that Eminem's song that goes, "guess who's back, back again?" was repeating itself in my head. Not good news.] Dan's improved in acting, and Rupert's more natural as Ron in this movie than before. While Emma was being too drama queen-ish. And the glory of the twins!!! Fleur was portrayed as being so useless, I pity her. Krum reminds me of my brother-in-law, so maybe that's why my eldest sis likes him. And of course, Cedric Diggory *giggle giggle giggle* I swear, he defines Slash. Because let me ask you a question:
How many of you saw how Cedric was lying his head onto another boy's lap just before Harry went up to him in the courtyard? I did, and SLASH TIME.
AAnyway, I'm going to watch it again tomorrow. Ha, go me.
